Now I know what y’all are thinking “Thomas, it’s LITERALLY halfway through 2020 and you’re just now creating a goal list for this year!?”

Well, I was reading one of Andy Frisella’s AndyGram on Starting NOW. It went into detail about how people think that they need to wait ‘till New Year to make changes. Instead of making changes TODAY. If you would like to read more on this article, click here!

After reading the AndyGram, I looked at my list I made at the beginning of the year and realized that I wasn’t setting my goals big enough!

So these are the REAL Goals and Aspirations for 2020!

I’ve portioned them out in the CORE 4 schema (if you don’t know what that is, you’re missing out! Click here to learn more!)

POWER

The first objective in CORE 4 is Power, which focuses on your literal and physical body. When pondering what I want to achieve in this portion of the CORE 4 I looked to all the amazing goals being met by the My Transphormation app. Which is 1st Phorm’s premier workout app. Working on the dev team that manages and updates it with new features I get to see all the people that not only commit to becoming better but actually following through.

I will be using this app to reach my fitness goals this year.

Which are:

  • Squat: 250
  • Bench: 150
  • Have an EMOM time below: 15 minutes
  • 15% Body fat
  • For the remainder of this year, I will do 100 push-ups every day
  • By the end of this year I will be able to do a MURPH

PASSION

This specific objective is about relationships. Whether they be family, friends, or co-workers.

Family

Whether the times are good or bad, the family is always there for you. This is why my 2020 goal is to spend at least 2 days a week spending time with them with all devices off and away.

Friends

I don’t speak to a lot of people nowadays, especially since the COVID happened, but I have a few friends that are spread out all over the nation (and some even spread to faraway countries!) that I plan to see more of at least once a month.

Co-Workers

My goals for Co-workers is to spend time and learn more about what makes the fire inside them light and what keeps them going. If you’re a 1st Phorm employee that would love to help me reach this goal and reading this, don’t hesitate to message me and I will find a time to meet up!

PURPOSE (Mind)

An open book

The next objective of the CORE 4 plan is Purpose. The dictionary definition for Purpose is:

The reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc

I believe the difference between people who are down on their luck and people who are on top of the world, is Purpose. I don’t care what you’re doing if you know your purpose, it doesn’t matter if you’re digging ditches or sweeping the streets, you’re going to feel on top of the world!

“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.”
~ Martin Luther King Jr.

Now, what’s one of the best ways to find your purpose? In my opinion, one of the best ways is through reading books? “Why’s that?” you may ask. Because in a book, you get an inside look inside a persons’ perspective that was built by many years of testing and seeing what works. WITHOUT having to go through all the years they had to.

My goal for Purpose is to listen to at least 4 podcasts a week (mainly during my work out routine), and read at least 2 books/week. If you would like to keep up with what books I read and what podcasts I listen to, follow me on Instagram @thethomaswgeorge.

PRODUCTION (Business & Work)

When it comes to the word “Production” what do you think of? I’ll tell you what comes to mind when I think about it. RESULTS. Results are what come to mind when I think of Productions. I picture a factory with many different workers all focused on their specific task to achieve a specific result by the end of the work.

My Work At 1st Phorm

As I said at the beginning of this article, I am a Mobile Applications Developer for the MyTransphormation app that 1st Phorm provides to aid people in keeping track of their Macros, Workouts, and Fitness goals.

There are hundreds of thousands of people that use this app on a daily basis to become better in life, health, and business. Because this app gives them the ability to track EVERYTHING from Macros to their Workout routine so they can focus on what they love doing and what they need to do without having the issue of figuring out what to do, which routine to use, and how to do it.

Which is the reason behind this next goal being one of the largest goals in this list.

My goals for 1st Phorm are:

  • Start a movement at 1st Phorm that grows their abilities to reach, train, and inspire into a whole new niche
  • Provide a token of accomplishment for people who stick with a goal through till the end
  • Create a valuable asset 1st Phorm can add to their portfolio which follows along with their goals and motto of “Pay Your Dues”

Business, Philanthropy, & Side Projects

One of my side projects | Scout Turf

In my spare time, I like to fly planes, travel, volunteer, and build software that helps businesses better than what’s already out there.

As far as flying planes go, I get to fly almost every week for at least 1 hour. This hour of flying helps me to keep what I’ve already retained about flying while also learning a little bit more. Which brings me to this section of the goals.

My goals for flying are:

  • Fly solo for the first time
  • Fly with a couple of friends and get a $100 hamburger
  • Pass and receive a Private Pilot’s License

If you would like to see a few of my side-projects I’ve built, please visit my Portfolio website by clicking here.

You could call my side-projects “businesses,” but in the loosest sense of the term. They all work. They all solve a need in their respective industries. They just don’t make any money.

A business that doesn’t make money is a hobby”
~
Dave Ramsey

I built all those projects in my free time and made them all really detailed and run smoothly as they were able to. I was always good at creating these projects, the problem was finding a way to make them profitable.

So my goals for my “businesses” are:

  • Join the Arete Syndicate to get trained by the best at growing and sustaining a business
  • Find a marketing agency that will enable me to find customers for my businesses
  • Reach at least 100 customers by the end of this year in one of my businesses

I LOVE volunteering. I don’t know what it is, but something about giving back to the community that helped raise you makes me smile. So when I find the time between flying, working out, working, or sleeping, I like to volunteer at Animal Shelters and find other ways to help as well.

Whether that be creating a website for a small business in the town for free or fixing a computer for people who were not born in the Age of Computers. My current philanthropic project that I’ve been working on is helping dogs and cats that are in shelters find a forever home. How am I doing this? By making it easy for those animals to be shown to millions of people.

Amazon a few years ago added a 404 page that, whenever you would visit a page that didn’t exist or the system just wasn’t able to find, would bring you to a page that displayed “Dogs of Amazon.” This page shows dogs that are brought by their employees. These dogs visit the Amazon headquarters every day.

So my thinking was, “Why don’t we make the same thing, but switch it to dogs and cats that don’t have a home yet.”

Regarding Philanthropy, my goals are:

  • To volunteer 100 hours at Animal Shelters
  • Add my Adoptable Animal 404 page to all my websites
  • Get my Adoptable Animal 404 Page added to at least 1 large company website
